Yuna cosplay picspam
I decided to get some photos of in-progress Summoner Yuna, now that I have a camera ^^ Unfortunately, the flash kind of killed the colors on the skirt, as I think it's a little too dark down here - I may get some photos upstairs in better light later (To give you a comparasion, the actual color of my walls is like that in the sleeve-images)

...Damn, you're fast, I just posted that like two minutes ago XD;; And yeah, I made those from scratch - still need to get actually earrings backs still, though. They're currently tied to pins stuck into my mousepad.

Oh no! Your skirt looks like the paint got smudged. :/

Next time it might be best to try and paint paint garments on a dressform. (I learned this after nearly ruining my sakurazukamori robe trying to paint it flat) Also, the sleeves look a bit wrinkly... are they linen? They really should either be silk or something a little more synthetic to give better flow.

The earrings look awesome, though I can't imagine that much weight on your earlobes. Mine hurt in sympathy just thinking about it. o.O

Can't wait to see how the rest of it works out!

Yeah, it did smudge a bit, unfortunately - I don't have a dresform, and probably will not have one at any point in the foreseeable future, although I got some paint the same color as the skirt to try and make the worst ones less visible.

The sleeves are a nice satin-weave cotton, although they do need to be ironed - the problem with silks and synthetics are that synthetics don't take dye well at all, and Yuna's sleeves have no shine at _all_, whereas almost all silks will have at least some.

I think for the earrings, only the big one is going to be bad...most of the beads are wood, so they're not actually that heavy.

And thanks, there'll probably be more photos after I get done with the obi ^^

Eee, thanks ^^ The top unfortunately turned out a little wonky, so I may end up redoing it - will get photos of whatever I end up with and my obi when they're done, though ^^
